EASA Western Cape will present a property update training session for estate agents on November 16 at Langebaan Country Estate, from 9am to 1.30pm.
Henry Madeleyn of Madeleyn Attorneys will be covering the Sectional Title Schemes Management Act (STSMA) and the Community Schemes Ombud Service Act (CSOSA), which took effect in October.
“Numerous changes need to be implemented in the management of sectional title schemes, and there are certain requirements that community housing schemes will need to fulfil according to the CSOSA,” says Annette Evans, general manager of IEASA Western Cape.
Current property trends and updates will be presented by Evans and Margie Campbell of the Estate Agency Affairs Board (EAAB).
The South African Pest Control Association (SAPCA) will discuss how clauses in offer to purchase contracts stand up in court, and extreme swimmer and motivational speaker, Toni Enderli, will speak on how to unlock personal and professional potential.
The cost is R50 for IEASA members and R150 for non-members and eCertificates issued count towards 2015 and 2016 non-verifiable continuous professional development (CPD).
